Who? are we The Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) Ashburton is a member of GPCNZ. It is a church for people who want to learn more about God. The church is founded on the Reformation principles as expressed in the historic Westminster Confession of Faith. What? is GPCNZ Grace Presbyterian Church of New Zealand (GPCNZ) is a national church committed to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture which owns the reformed faith with grace and warmth. It seeks to glorify the name of Christ by worship, by preaching and living out the gospel in our contemporary culture so that individuals, families, communities and the nation are transformed by the power of the gospel.

We believe that God is to be worshipped as the creator of all things and the one who is in control of all things in our lives. We are to gather weekly on Sundays, to worship our God in a vital and heartfelt manner as we focus on his glory. Life only makes sense when God’s Son, Jesus Christ is at the centre. The Bible is the Word of God and in it we are given the way to eternal life. That clear, relevant bible teaching and preaching is essential in coming to know God better. The church should be like a family, where there is warmth and lasting friendship. It is our desire that through coming together, people will grow closer to God and be motivated to live for Him on a daily basis
